Nolan Mooney
I am 40 years old and a father of two wonderful boys, Aidan and Ethan. I grew up in San Diego, California and after being very overweight in the my early teens, I became tired of my situation and from the age of 15 I became very active in cycling in the velodrome, mountain biking, rock climbing, and anything to do with the ocean.
When I turned 17, I joined the US ARMY and became an Airborne Infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division. After 4 years active duty service I joined the Air Force National Guard and became an Airport Firefighter. It was in this period (2006) I found CrossFit and I never looked back.
In 2008 I moved to the Netherlands where I quickly became friends with my old business partners Jos Hermans and Dennis Tanamal at which time we started CrossFit FSF which is still very successful to this day. I am also a fanatic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu practioner and I love to surf!
